ABOUT THIS WATCH

The Noctis is built around the idea that a watch can be both technically engaging and visually restrained. The multi-complication dial organizes moonphase, date, and open-heart mechanics into a coherent layout that rewards a closer look without demanding attention from across the room.

The 41MM stainless steel case houses a Japan automatic movement visible through an open aperture at the lower portion of the dial. Synthetic sapphire crystal helps protect the dial surface and maintain visual clarity across different lighting conditions. The strap construction combines PU leather with a fluorine rubber underlayer, finished with a pin buckle.

The Noctis suits the man who appreciates mechanical watchmaking as a daily presence rather than a special occasion. It wears well under a shirt cuff, reads clearly in a meeting room, and carries enough visual depth to start a conversation when the sleeve rolls back.

Three-Subdial Layout

The Noctis dial organizes three distinct functions across its surface without visual congestion. A date subdial sits at the left, a moonphase subdial at the right, and the open-heart aperture anchors the lower portion of the dial. The gradient blue field unifies the layout, allowing each complication to occupy its own visual zone while the overall composition remains balanced and legible.

Moonphase Subdial

The moonphase subdial on the right side of the dial presents a deep blue field with a crescent moon indicator and star details, surrounded by a graduated 24-hour scale. The subdial surface carries a concentric guilloche-style texture that differentiates it from the main dial and adds a layer of visual depth at close range.

Movement Visible From The Dial

An open aperture at the lower section of the dial keeps the running movement visible during wear. The automatic movement operates through the natural motion of the wrist, with no battery required. The aperture bridges the decorative and mechanical aspects of the watch, making the movement a visible element of the dial rather than something reserved for the caseback alone.

Applied Indices & Luminous Fill

The hour markers are applied batons with luminous fill, distributed around the dial perimeter with a paired chevron-style marker at 12 o'clock that visually anchors the top of the dial. The slim, elongated hands maintain a proportional relationship with the markers, allowing quick time reading without competing with the subdial layout beneath.

Textured Strap Construction

The strap is constructed from PU leather with a fluorine rubber underlayer, producing a surface with a fine textile-like texture that is visible across the full length of the strap. The 20MM width integrates cleanly with the case lugs and the pin buckle closure keeps the attachment straightforward and secure.

Worn, Not Displayed

The Noctis sits close to the wrist with a proportioned profile that remains comfortable under a cuff. The 41MM case diameter and 14MM thickness deliver presence on the wrist without bulk, making the watch equally suited to a dress shirt or a relaxed weekend sleeve.

Case Profile

Viewed from the side, the Noctis case reveals a clean profile with defined lug geometry that flows naturally toward the strap. The stainless steel surfaces carry a combination of finishing that gives the case structure and visual weight appropriate for a multi-complication mechanical watch.

Daily Presence

The multi-complication dial carries enough visual interest to hold attention at a glance while remaining composed in a business or social setting. The Noctis does not announce itself — it reveals itself when given a moment of attention.

What customers are saying

Marcus Elliot

Marcus Elliot

The Noctis arrived well packaged and the movement was already running. The open-heart aperture at the bottom of the dial reads clearly in natural light, and the caseback gives a proper view of the mechanics in motion.

Wore this to a client presentation last week. The 41MM sits well under a dress shirt cuff and the synthetic sapphire held up without a scratch through two weeks of daily use.

The moonphase subdial is more detailed than I expected at this price point. The concentric texture on the subdial surface adds depth that only becomes visible when you look closely.

Solid automatic movement with no noticeable deviation in the first month of wear. The caseback window gives a clear view of the rotor and the base plate. Good mechanical presence for the size.

The strap material has a textile-like surface finish that sits comfortably on the wrist. No stiffness on arrival, which is not always the case with this type of construction.

Three complications organized on a single dial without clutter. The date subdial and moonphase are positioned symmetrically, which keeps the layout balanced regardless of what the hands are pointing at.

At 95 grams, the Noctis has enough weight to feel substantial without becoming uncomfortable over a full day. I wear it from morning meetings through the evening without adjusting the strap once.

The exhibition caseback is the detail that pushed me toward this model. Watching the movement from the rear during quiet moments is exactly the kind of ownership experience I was looking for.

The pin buckle is straightforward and secure. I had concerns about long-term durability before purchasing, but after six weeks the mechanism shows no signs of loosening.

Legibility is strong under office lighting. The applied indices with luminous fill hold up well in low-light conditions, and the hand length is proportional to the dial without overcrowding the subdials.

Received the Noctis about three weeks ago. The movement was accurate out of the box and the caseback crystal is clean with no distortion over the movement.

The 14MM case thickness is noticeable in the best way. The watch sits low on the wrist and passes under a shirt cuff without resistance. I was not expecting that from a multi-complication case.

I tested the water resistance during a weekend trip. Worn briefly under a shower with no issues. The 100M rating appears to be genuine and not just a specification number.

The strap construction combines well with the case finishing. The overall build feels cohesive, not like the bracelet was selected as an afterthought.

The open-heart aperture keeps the movement visible during wear, which was the main reason I chose this model over a closed-dial alternative. It adds a mechanical dimension to what would otherwise be a straightforward dress watch.

Bought this as a daily wear alternative to a dress watch I keep for formal occasions. The Noctis handles both contexts without looking out of place in either.
