ABOUT THIS WATCH

The Targa occupies a precise position in the Jacob Pagani® collection: a sport chronograph with enough restraint to wear daily and enough character to be noticed. Its three-register dial layout and integrated tachymeter scale reflect a design tradition rooted in motorsport timing — carried here into a format that suits modern life.

Powering the Targa is a Japan Seiko VK63 movement, a mecha-quartz calibre that combines quartz precision with the physical sweep of a mechanical chronograph hand. The 41MM stainless steel case is sealed with sapphire crystal, engineered for greater scratch resistance in everyday wear, and rated to 100M water resistance — a specification that makes it equally at home in the rain, on the water, or in the pool.

The structured nylon strap gives the Targa a purposeful, lightweight feel on the wrist — a choice that speaks to functionality without sacrificing finish. It is the kind of watch that rewards daily wear without demanding special treatment.

Three-Register Chronograph Layout

The Targa's dial is organised around three subsidiary registers arranged symmetrically across the face. The layout keeps each chronograph function clearly separated, with Arabic numeral hour markers and applied rectangular bar indexes providing strong visual anchoring across all lighting conditions.

Tachymeter Scale & Date Window

The tachymeter scale is integrated into the inner bezel ring, running continuously around the perimeter of the dial. A date window sits at approximately 4 o'clock, offering a practical everyday function within the same clean visual plane as the chronograph display.

Mecha-Quartz Precision

The Targa runs on a Japan Seiko VK63 movement — a mecha-quartz calibre that delivers the smooth physical sweep of a mechanical chronograph hand with the accuracy of quartz timekeeping. No battery anxiety, no manual winding: a movement built for confident, consistent daily use.

Stainless Steel Case with Sapphire Crystal

The 41MM stainless steel case carries a profile shaped for presence without excess. Sapphire crystal covers the dial, engineered for greater scratch resistance in everyday wear and helping preserve visual clarity across changing light conditions. At 13MM thick, the case sits confidently on the wrist without reading as oversized.

Structured Nylon Strap with Pin Buckle

The woven nylon strap brings a sport-ready lightness to the Targa without sacrificing structure. A pin buckle closure allows precise fit adjustment and contributes to the overall purposeful character of the watch — a strap choice that wears as comfortably on a long day as it does on an active weekend.

Daily Precision

The Targa on the wrist is an immediate statement of intent — a chronograph that belongs in the rotation without requiring an occasion. Its 41MM case sits flush and purposeful, the dial legible at a glance.

Built for Motion

The structured nylon strap adapts to the wrist with a secure, lightweight presence. The Targa is calibrated for daily life — a watch that keeps up without drawing attention to the effort.

Measured to the Second

The tachymeter scale and three-register dial make the Targa a functional instrument as much as a design object. Every element on the dial exists with a purpose — and that clarity reads immediately in wear.

What customers are saying

Thomas Eriksson

Thomas Eriksson

The Targa wears well for its size. At 41MM and 13MM thick, it sits closer to the wrist than I expected, and the nylon strap keeps the overall weight light enough for a full day without discomfort.

Ordered the Targa primarily for the VK63 movement. The chronograph hand sweeps smoothly, which is not something you typically find at this price point. Legibility is strong in most lighting conditions.

The packaging was more considered than I anticipated. The watch arrived well protected and presented, which made it feel like a deliberate purchase rather than just an online order.

I wear the Targa daily to the office. The 41MM case has enough presence without reading as a sport watch in a formal context. The sapphire crystal has held up without any visible marks after three months.

The chronograph registers are clearly laid out and easy to read at a glance. The tachymeter scale on the inner ring is a detail I use more often than I expected.

Solid construction throughout. The stainless steel case feels substantial without being heavy, and the nylon strap breaks in quickly. Nothing about it feels like a compromise.

The VK63 movement keeps accurate time and the sweep of the seconds hand is convincing. For a quartz-based chronograph, the mechanical feel is genuinely well executed.

I've worn the Targa through several workouts and one open water swim. The 100M water resistance specification performs as stated. No issues after repeated exposure to water.

The dial layout on the Targa is clean without being sparse. Three registers, a date window, and a tachymeter scale all coexist without the face feeling overcrowded.
