Jacob Pagani® Vantage
JAPAN PRECISION. CHRONOGRAPH BUILT TO PERFORM.
ABOUT THIS WATCH
The Vantage is built around a single idea: that a sports chronograph should carry as much presence on the wrist as it does function on the dial. Its motorsport proportions, textured meteorite-patterned surface, and tachymetre bezel give it an identity that reads immediately, without needing to announce itself.
At 40 MM and 12 MM thick, the stainless steel case sits confidently on the wrist without excess. The sapphire crystal helps maintain visual clarity across different lighting conditions, while the Japan Seiko VK63 movement delivers chronograph function with the reliability Japanese movements are known for. Water resistance to 100M means the watch moves through daily life without limitations.
The rubber strap keeps the Vantage grounded in sport, making it equally at home with a suit sleeve pushed back or a weekend shirt. Four variants let the same architecture express different characters, from the restrained steel-and-meteorite of Frost to the warmer presence of Phantom and Solstice.
A Dial That Draws Attention Before the Hands Do
The surface of the Vantage dial carries a cross-hatched meteorite-inspired pattern that shifts in visual weight depending on the angle. Rather than a flat background, it creates depth and texture within the 40 MM case, making the dial itself a point of interest independent of the chronograph sub-registers.
Subdials Built for Contrast
Three circular sub-registers sit in a tri-compax arrangement across the dial. On most variants, the dark subdials contrast sharply against the lighter meteorite surface, creating a visual hierarchy that separates the chronograph functions from the main time display at a glance.
Seiko Precision Inside
The Vantage runs on the Japan Seiko VK63, a meca-quartz movement that delivers precise chronograph function with the sweep characteristics more associated with mechanical movements. It operates without a battery swap anxiety common to standard quartz, and the Japan-origin caliber is a known reference for reliability in sport chronographs.
The fixed black bezel carries a full tachymetre scale, allowing the chronograph function to be used for speed estimation over a measured distance. The white engraved numerals read clearly against the dark bezel surface, and the triangular pip at 12 o'clock provides an immediate orientation reference point.
Engineered for Scratch Resistance
The Vantage is fitted with a sapphire crystal, a material chosen for its greater resistance to surface scratching in everyday wear. It helps preserve the legibility of the dial across lighting conditions and maintains the visual integrity of the watch face over time.
Stainless Steel Construction with Engraved Caseback
The case is constructed in stainless steel, with finishing visible across the lugs and case sides. The caseback carries an engraved starfish motif alongside the water resistance specification and brand details, providing a considered finish to the reverse side. Water resistance is rated to 100M, confirmed on the caseback engraving.
A Strap Built for Wearability
The 20 MM rubber strap provides a secure, flexible fit suitable for active use and extended daily wear. Its textured surface adds visual structure, and the strap attaches via a pin buckle with a matching case finish, connecting the hardware across the watch in a coherent way.
A Chronograph That Works After the Meeting Ends
The Vantage carries the weight of a sport chronograph without abandoning the wrist in formal settings. The steel case and meteorite dial read with enough restraint to pair with tailored clothing, while the rubber strap signals that the watch has a wider range of intent.
Built for Days That Start Before Dawn
The Phantom variant brings a darker visual weight to the Vantage. Against a black dial surface with rose gold subdials and case, the watch reads with more presence and less formality, a combination that suits the wrist throughout any stretch of day.
The Dial Changes With the Light
The Solstice variant is distinguished by its warm-toned meteorite dial, which shifts appearance depending on angle and light. With rose gold case hardware and dark subdials, the overall composition sits between sport and formality, a watch that adjusts to context rather than demanding it.
Got questions about the Vantage?
Everything you need to know before you order.
The Vantage is water resistant to 100M (10 bar), which makes it suitable for swimming and general water exposure. It is not intended for diving or high-pressure water activities.
The Vantage runs on the Japan Seiko VK63, a meca-quartz caliber that delivers chronograph function with a smoother seconds hand sweep than conventional quartz movements. It combines quartz accuracy with a more mechanical feel in daily use.
The Vantage is available in four variants: Phantom, Frost, Solstice, and Ash. Each shares the same 40 MM stainless steel case and rubber strap, with differences in dial texture tone, subdial finish, and case color.
The Vantage is fitted with a sapphire crystal, chosen for its greater resistance to surface scratching compared to standard mineral glass. It is designed to maintain dial clarity and visual integrity through regular daily wear.
Yes. The stainless steel caseback carries an engraved starfish motif along with the water resistance specification and brand details. The water resistance rating of 100M is also confirmed directly on the caseback inscription.
