Jacob Pagani® Mariner
AUTOMATIC DIVER WITH SAPPHIRE AND STEEL
ABOUT THIS WATCH
The Mariner brings together the proportions of a classic diver with the construction details of a daily companion built for steady, confident wear. Its stainless steel case and bracelet establish a solid foundation, while the rotating bezel and sunray dial give the design a technical, purposeful character that fits naturally into both casual and business settings.
Every element of the Mariner is built around durability and clarity. The sapphire crystal is engineered for greater scratch resistance in everyday wear, the ceramic bezel insert carries graduated markings for a clear visual reference, and the exhibition caseback keeps the Japan automatic movement visible, allowing the mechanics to remain part of the ownership experience. The three link steel bracelet closes with a folding clasp that includes a safety feature, keeping the watch secure through daily movement.
On the wrist, the Mariner moves easily between contexts, from a desk setting to an evening out, without requiring a change of accessories. Its steel construction and clean dial layout make it a watch that can be worn consistently, becoming part of a daily routine rather than an occasional accessory.
Ceramic Rotating Bezel
The bezel wraps the case in a grooved steel edge, giving the rotating ceramic insert a confident grip for adjustment. Paired with the tone on tone blue insert, it brings a clean, technical accent to the profile of the case.
Graduated Bezel Markings
The ceramic insert carries graduated white markings around its edge, with a luminous pip positioned at the top of the bezel. These references give the rotating bezel a clear, functional presence on the wrist, reinforcing the diver inspired architecture of the design.
Sapphire Crystal
A sapphire crystal covers the dial, engineered for greater scratch resistance in everyday wear. Its clarity helps preserve the visibility of the sunray dial finish from multiple angles, supporting a clean read of the time throughout the day.
Sunray Dial Finish
The dial features a sunray finish that shifts subtly with changes in light, adding depth to the green colorway. At 12 o'clock, a triangular marker establishes the primary visual reference point, while a rectangular bar marker at 6 o'clock and circular luminous markers complete the layout across the dial.
Date Display
A date window is positioned within the dial layout, displaying the current date against the sunray finish. Combined with the high contrast hour markers, it keeps daily information easy to read at a glance.
Exhibition Caseback
The caseback features a sapphire window that exposes the automatic movement, keeping the mechanical components visible as part of the ownership experience. Through the opening, the rotor and gear train remain on display whenever the watch is at rest.
The Mariner runs on a Japan automatic movement, powered by the natural motion of the wrist, with manual winding available when needed. Designed to operate through regular wear, the movement reflects the traditional appeal of mechanical watchmaking, without reliance on a battery.
Three Link Steel Bracelet
The three link bracelet is built in stainless steel, matching the case finish for a cohesive profile on the wrist. A combination of brushed and polished surfaces creates visual contrast throughout the bracelet, adding dimension to its construction.
Folding Clasp With Safety
The bracelet closes with a folding clasp that includes a safety feature, helping keep the watch secure on the wrist throughout daily wear. This type of closure adds a practical layer of confidence to the overall design.
Engraved Crown
The crown carries the brand's shield emblem engraved on its surface, adding a finishing detail to the side of the case. Positioned alongside the bracelet's steel construction, it reinforces the cohesive look of the case and band as a single unit.
A Steady Companion for the Workday
Worn close to the cuff, the Mariner settles naturally into a daily routine, its steel bracelet and graduated bezel adding a technical detail to a structured outfit without overpowering it.
Built to Move With the Day
The sunray dial of the Mariner catches available light as the wrist moves, keeping the watch visually active across different settings throughout the day.
A Familiar Reference Point
With both hands in frame, the Mariner becomes part of a natural gesture, its dial and bezel offering a clean, legible reference at a glance.
