ABOUT THIS WATCH

The Phantom is built for the wearer who prefers the mechanics to speak for themselves. Its tonneau case opens the movement to full view from every angle, turning a functional object into a visual statement worn on the wrist.

The stainless steel case houses a Japan mechanical movement visible through a full skeleton architecture — no dial plate concealing the gear trains, bridges, or balance wheel. Sapphire crystal sits above it all, offering greater scratch resistance in everyday use, while a screw crown and 100M water resistance keep the construction well-sealed against daily exposure. The textured silicone strap with its perforated ventilation pattern brings a sporting quality that balances the mechanical complexity above it.

The Phantom fits a specific kind of confidence — the kind that does not require explanation. It wears large without being aggressive, reads as technical without being cold, and carries enough visual depth to reward a second look at any occasion.

The Movement as the Dial

Where a conventional dial would conceal the movement behind a printed surface, the Phantom removes that layer entirely. Gear trains, bridges, screws, and the balance wheel are all visible through the open architecture, creating a display that changes with the light and the angle of the wrist.

Luminous Hands Against Open Depth

The hands carry luminous material that establishes immediate contrast against the layered mechanical depth below. Time remains readable even as the eye moves through gears and bridges in the background, maintaining function within the visual complexity of the skeleton architecture.

Angular Tonneau Geometry

The tonneau case shape gives the Phantom its visual identity. The beveled lugs, chamfered edges, and exposed case screws across the bezel and lower case create a structured, technical silhouette that reads as architectural rather than decorative. Brushed steel surfaces catch light directionally, reinforcing the case geometry without adding visual weight.

Case Profile & Crown Integration

Viewed from the side, the case thickness and the crown position reveal how the Phantom sits on the wrist. The screw crown integrates flush with the case flank, supporting the water resistance rating without interrupting the angular profile of the case.

Movement Visible From Both Sides

The caseback continues the skeleton architecture started on the front. The movement is visible from the rear of the case as well, with gear trains, the rotor assembly, and mechanical components exposed through the open caseback structure. The experience of ownership extends beyond reading the time.

Scratch-Resistant Clarity

The sapphire crystal sitting above the skeleton movement is engineered for greater scratch resistance in everyday wear, helping preserve visual clarity across the layered mechanical depth below. For a watch where the dial is the movement itself, the quality of the crystal is integral to the ownership experience.

Perforated Silicone Strap

The silicone strap features a perforated ventilation pattern along its length, reducing heat and contact across the wrist during extended wear. The structured texture and squared perforations give the strap a visual character that complements the angular geometry of the tonneau case above it.

Pin Buckle Closure

The steel pin buckle provides a secure and adjustable closure, keeping the strap settled on the wrist across different activities. Its brushed steel finish maintains consistency with the case material and tone.

Wrist-Powered Mechanics

The Phantom runs on a Japan mechanical movement, powered by the natural motion of the wrist rather than a battery. The movement supports both manual winding and automatic winding through wrist movement, offering flexibility in how the watch is maintained and kept running.

The Tonneau on the Wrist

The tonneau case asserts itself with genuine presence on the wrist — wide enough to command attention, angular enough to read with clarity across a room.

Skeleton Depth at Rest

At rest, the skeleton architecture reveals itself fully — layers of gears and bridges visible through the sapphire crystal, the movement reading almost like a diagram of itself.

Open Architecture, Direct View

From above, the full skeleton layout becomes a composition in itself — mechanical geometry framed within the angular tonneau case, readable in full through the sapphire crystal.

What customers are saying

Marcus Holt

The skeleton dial on the Phantom is unlike anything I have owned at this price point. The layering of bridges and gears visible through the sapphire crystal creates a depth that photographs do not do justice. Settled immediately on the wrist.

New York, USA

Tobias Brenner

Ordered the version with the red strap. The silicone is firmer than expected, which I prefer. The perforations along the strap make it noticeably more comfortable through the day. The tonneau case is larger in person but sits better than I anticipated.

Berlin, Germany

Julien Marchand

The movement winds smoothly both by wrist motion and manually. I wound it fully on arrival and it ran without issue from the first day. The screw crown gives a solid, reassuring feel when setting the time.

Paris, France

Oliver Pemberton

I was drawn to the open caseback as much as the dial. Seeing the gear train from the rear of the case adds something to the experience of wearing it. It is a detail that would go unnoticed on most watches but becomes part of the routine with this one.

London, UK

Henrik Larsson

The sapphire crystal reads clearly even in direct sunlight. There is very little glare, and the skeleton movement beneath it stays visible at most angles. It holds up well after two months of daily use with no visible marks.

Stockholm, Sweden

Alessandro Ricci

Wore the Phantom to a formal dinner last week and received two unprompted questions about the movement. The skeleton dial reads as mechanical and intentional, not decorative. It holds its own in that context without trying too hard.

Milan, Italy

James Thornton

The case thickness is something to consider before purchasing. At 15mm it sits higher on the wrist than most watches I have worn. After a few days it became normal and the tonneau proportions balance it well visually.

Sydney, Australia

Nicolai Andersen

The luminous hands are effective in low light. The contrast between the hands and the mechanical background is actually better in darker conditions than in full daylight. A practical detail that is easy to overlook in product photos.

Oslo, Norway

Étienne Beaumont

Shipping was faster than stated. The watch arrived in solid packaging and showed no marks or handling issues. The silicone strap was already attached and the crown was correctly positioned. Ready to wear immediately.

Geneva, Switzerland

Sebastian Vogt

The tonneau geometry looks sharp in person. The chamfered edges catch light differently depending on the angle and the brushed surfaces hold well without attracting fingerprints. The case screws are a distinctive detail that suits the overall design language.

Zurich, Switzerland

Ryan Gallagher

I bought the version with the turquoise bridges. The color contrast against the steel case and black strap is subtle in lower light and more vivid outdoors. It is an unusual combination that works better than it should on paper.

Toronto, Canada

Matteo De Luca

The mechanical movement is smooth and consistent. I have been wearing it daily for six weeks and it has kept accurate time without needing manual correction. The winding through daily wear functions as expected.

Rome, Italy

Felix Wagner

The pin buckle closes cleanly and holds the strap without any lateral movement on the wrist. It is a simple closure but it performs well. The brushed steel finish on the buckle matches the case tone closely. text

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Liam Hartley

I was uncertain about the silicone strap initially but the texture and weight of it suit the case proportions. It does not feel lightweight or inexpensive. The squared perforations along the length are a considered design choice, not just a functional one.

Melbourne, Australia

Rashid Al Farsi

Wearing a skeleton dial for the first time changes how you interact with the watch. Checking the time is a different experience when the movement is visible. The Phantom made that shift feel natural rather than novelty-driven.

Dubai, UAE

Jonas Eriksson

I have compared the caseback view to a closed exhibition caseback from another watch I own. The Phantom being fully open from the rear makes the mechanics considerably more visible and accessible to the eye. There is no filter between the observer and the movement.

Stockholm, Sweden

Daniel Whitmore

The watch wears large but the tonneau shape keeps the visual weight manageable. Dress shirts accommodate it without issues. The strap lies flat against the wrist and does not bunch at the lug ends.

Los Angeles, USA

Adrian Müller

The water resistance has been tested through daily hand washing and one brief swim. No issues after three months. The screw crown adds confidence in that regard and the crown itself is easy to grip and operate.

Vienna, Austria

William Ashford

At the weight it carries, the Phantom communicates quality without being heavy or uncomfortable. The balance between the steel case and the silicone strap keeps it manageable for extended wear without fatigue.

Hong Kong

Cian O'Sullivan

The open skeleton dial is genuinely well executed for a watch in this category. The bridges, gears, and balance wheel are all legible through the crystal without appearing cluttered. The visual logic of the movement is readable even without horological knowledge.
